Prof. Euy Y. Soh is professor of Surgery and director of the Department of Endocrine Surgery at Ajou University Hospital, Suwon, South Korea. He graduated from Yonsei University School of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea, and completed surgical training and endocrine fellowship program at Severance Hospital in Yonsei University. He had also studied as a research fellow at the University of California San Francisco, from 1994-1996. Prof. Soh was President of the Korean Thyroid Association from 2014-2015, as well as President of the Korean Thyroid Endocrine Surgeons Association from 2014-2016 and the President of Korean Head and Neck Oncology Society from 2012-2015. From 2014 to 2016 he was President of the 15th Congress of the Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons. He is a Council Member of the Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons and the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons.
Prof. Soh has authored more than 150 original papers and book chapters, and served on numerous editorial boards and committees. He is performing more than 500 endocrine surgical operations annually, and has a special interest in minimal invasive thyroid and adrenal surgery with Robotic surgical device.
His research interests have focused on the development and progression of thyroid cancer.
